1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

1. I believe that my radio show is quite accurate with existing Army talk show that are out at the moment , for example About.com which is a Internet army talk show. I feel that i reached my target audience which is everyone in the army the old and the younger members army.I brought in a relevant guest Alex Pinel want to be in the army so he was a good choose and this is the factor that I feel would appeal all generation in the army. I included sound clips of the TA training film with is well related to the army. I feel that this made my radio show more believable and more relevant to the army most because of that talking part of my clip. Other Codes and Conventions that I included were the show host, a jingle and a guest, which are the key factors of a radio show.I feel that my jingle catchy, short and unlike this is what normal radio show which is good because mine does follow C&C of a radio show. I believe that this jingle is not particularly related to the army but there is not much army music. However it still serves it's purpose as a catchy jingle.

2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?

2. I think it doesn't represent many social groups but the ones it does are the ones it is supposed to. It represents the younger solders in the army and the older ones in the army which is what the show is aimed and and there fore it is a good radio show because it should represent the groups that the show is targeted at. Even people in the army can listen to the show but they might not be as in to the show as the other people in the army.

3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

3. I don't think many media institutions would distribute my audio project because I don't believe that they would think that it would be professional enough to distribute to a large audience. Also there could be a chance that they do mind because you might take some of there audiences. Or because you countering the genres and things like that.

4. Who would be the audience for your media product?

4. As i have already said my target audience are the members of the army even if they are old member or if they are members who have just joined my show is aimed at both of them. This is most probably those between 18-50 because this is what the average ages of people in the army are but there might be some older people in the army who wont be interested. Also there might be people out side the army and want to be in the army and they might listen to the show because it might help them get in to the army or help them find out how to get into the army. Most people are in C2DE but there might be one people in ABC1 because the high ranked officers might come from a better back round than people who have come form school to the army because they have nothing else to do.

5. How did you attract/address your audience?

5. They way i attracted my audience to listen to the show is to take account the interests of my audience. So i choose things that would attract the the audience like the jingle and the guest which are related to the show. I feel the jingle is catchy and interesting which is good because that will ether make you turn off the show or keep listening. The same with the guest if the guests is a bad guest or has no relevance to the army will make you ether turn off the show because you are not very interested in the show or may like the guest so you keeping listening. Also the good jingle will make people in the army more cheery because it is a catchy tune and therefore that is a good way to get people to listen to the show. With the jingle being cheerful make people listen because they now there will be good music on the show.

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

6.From this project, I have learnt how to capably use Garage Band pre-, during and post-production. I have also learnt how to use audacity. This includes creating loops, tunes and rhythms to effect also learnt how to make a little tune on garage band with the onscreen keyboard. With this new found knowledge, I feel that I will be able to further construct a radio show to a full length discussion. I have learnt how to alter settings, such as sound and volume of different tracks by using the program audacity.Overall, I have learnt how to use Garage Band and Audacity consistently and to, I hope, a high-quality.
